Here we can talk about Janko play

US Open

Postby Yana on Tue Aug 28, 2007 7:27 am

Today Janko and Grosjean would play doubles against Matkowski/Fyrstenberg (12 seeded).
And in the first round of singles Janko faces Ryan Sweeting from USA.

Yer,Nadal played very bad in his first round with Alun Jones, and another reason of Janko's victory is so,that he is a good player

I saw the game of Janko playing against Nadal at the US open 2007.Unfortunately,he lost.
Well, what can i say about it?Being a great supporter of his and all the competitors from Serbia,i can only say that he really played well and also made great resistance to favoured Nadal. He proved that he was a great talent at the match, but he had no enough luck because of the injuries that eventually stopped him to play the best he could.Nadal was injured, but he was even more injured and had to retire because of it. :?
It's obvious that he is a very great talent.I especially like the way he serves in general. In my opinion, his serving is among the nicest ones in tennis. He managed to serve just about 11 aces in two sets comparing to Nadal's 3.I also think that he serves even better than Serbia's tennis player number one Novak Djokovic.
Frequent injuries and evident lack of luck always drag him away from being among the best ones in tennis, but he is still somewhere in the middle of the first 100. 8) It is not good that he sometimes makes really inexplicable unforced errors just at the moment when nobody expects them to happen. That's a big flaw of his play,i think. He should improve his play by trying not to make such things.
P.S.I also think that he is a very cool guy because he never gets much too upset and nervous when playing just like some other tennis players often do.He has shown that at the US open too.I have to praise him for that attitude.
Like his cool appearance too(piercing,tatoos,glasses... 8) :) )

I didn't see Janko's playing with Nadal  But I think that it was hard match to Rafa.I agree with u feeling_a_bit_tipsy that Janko's serving is very cool :D So sorry that in the US Open Janko lost in second round(I hope that in the next year US Open will be more succesful that this one!

I hope he gets better soon, too - I was gutted when I heard that he was injured too, as well as Nadal. I was listening to the match on the radio on my laptop and I stayed up most of the night listening to it - I was even getting nervous for him, I wanted him to win that badly!
In the end, I finally had to go to bed and when I heard he had to retire, I was all
